Greetings, like the title shouts it out. Sounds: I am missing my sound during 'playing' the game, in Sudden Strike 1 AND in 2. When I first started SS1 & 2 everything was perfect with it, but as soon as I switched back to the Menu every single sound file is gone expect the sound when you smash the menu button ingame. When i enter a mission again the sound just works if I enable the music in the options and set it a maximum (but the music doesnt even play, there is just awkward silence), the other sound triggers in the options dont even have an impact to the ingame sound. May 26, 2008 - Sudden Strike III: Arms for Victory is a Real Time Strategy based on the battles of World. Sudden Strike Forever v.2. SS II patch 1.9 to 2.0. But as soon as I leave the mission again and going back to the Menu there is no sound anymore again. I tried everything like re-install, starting as an admin or looking into the game files. Nothing worked even Google doenst know an answer. It is the same problem like I got with my old Retail-Version of the game. I hope you can find a fix for it dear devs, everything else would be a mess. Mission doenst start: The Campaigns of the 'Add-On' in SS1 dont even work properly as well. As soon as I am ingame I can see the map, but nothing else happens. So I guess the script to start the mission isnt working at all. It isnt even possible to me to play the game without sounds in this way. Please invest the time to optimize it for modern systems like does it in the past time. Otherwise sell your game through, they will take care of that stuff like that. I bought the whole Sudden Strike Collection together with Sudden Strike 4 and if there will no changes happen, I have to reclaim my money from Steam, even if I dont want to (I like every single Sudden Strike game). Also I guess there will be way more problems occure in the game. Dont get me wrong, but even through the information that the game is a 're-release' without any changes, it isnt a product worth selling. It just gives an negative impact onto your company's image and kind of deceive your customers and I guess you dont want that. I am hoping for a fast response from the devs, you (or you former colleagues) made a great job with all Sudden Strike games, so keep it up! Hello shadowkaly, thanks for your fast answer, I appreciate that! That isnt the normal behaviour of Devs;) I tried that solution as well. It always works for the first time I start the game. As soon as I leave any mission, the same sound problems occure again, in words I need to do it before every mission I start and even than there is no music in game and all buttons in the sound options are switchen or connected with each other. I hope you can work for a solution through a patch, on the other hand I can totally understand that the whole team focuse onto SS4 R4nger.
